I was recently introduced to the group ‘Skillet’ and immediately loved the dynamic energy they put into all their performances. Was especially taken by Jen Ledger, the female drummer and vocalist of Skillet in this video of  ‘Awake and Alive’

The lyrics are simple but powerfully sung:

I’m awake * I’m alive
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it’s my time
I’ll do what I want ’cause this is my life
Here * Right now
I’ll stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I’m awake and I’m alive

‘Looking for Angels’ is another Skillet song with images, that although  disturbing, are so easy for most of us to relate to:  The feeling of being in a crowded city: Searching the thousands of faces for a single spark of recognition. But then .. ‘Angels showing up in the strangest of places.’ As they do!

 

The lyrics of the song I selected for the video: ‘Stand Tall’ by singer/songwriter Ian Axel,

Stand tall * You know the weight of the world won’t bring you down.
Stand tall * You gotta be who you are.
Stand tall * You gotta let it * You gotta let it * You gotta let it * Go.

Were in perfect sync with the Essence of Sand Morning Glory and my images.

Just being in the vicinity of Sand Morning Glory: Its vibration can release self imposed limitations and restrictions. And the same vibrational energy can be visually transmitted and absorbed by the viewer.  

As Ian has said:  ‘We often .. follow other people’s agendas. You have to hold yourself accountable to make changes and live in the now. The world responds to what you give.’ 

The lyrics also had an influence on the design of some of the frames ie Morning Glory began to flower on tall stems in the tall side borders

So as you watch the changing patterns in this video and listen to ‘Stand Tall: Allow all the old limiting aspects of your being to silently melt away and then as the NEW patterns emerge, breathe in the sense of the NEW freedom to explore the more inspired aspects of your being.

Tara Hack’s Video for Schapelle Corby You Found Me * The Fray

Schapelle Corby became a household name in Australia after her arrest in 2004 on charges of importing 4.2 kg of marijuana into Bali. Her subsequent trial and guilty verdict were covered extensively in the Australian news, and in 2005 there was a groundswell of support from all over Australia due to the inconsistencies in the evidence against her.

The weakness of the case against Schapelle was compounded by the fact that the Indonesian prosecutors could not offer a single piece of forensic evidence to support their case, despite repeated requests for it from Schapelle and her defense team. The marijuana was not tested for its origin, finger prints were not taken and CCTV footage was mysteriously unavailable. The case against Schapelle was based exclusively on circumstantial evidence.

The final twist was a trial by media which occurred when the Australian media turned a convenient blind eye to the truth and used their influence to convict Schappelle in the eyes of Australian.

Medical experts unite: Since New Idea reported ‘Bring Schapelle home or she’ll die’ they have been inundated with thousands of letters and emails demanding that the CURRENT Australian Government ensures Schapelle gets proper medical treatment. Now Associate Professor Jonathan Phillips, who diagnosed Schapelle as clinically insane has joined forces with drug and alcohol expert Dr Alex Wodak to bring her home. ‘This is a matter of decency and clemency.’ Dr Jonathan Phillips.

Jo Buchanan an advocate of SANE Australia visited Schapelle in Kerobokan Prison two weeks ago and was shocked to see ‘the terrifying world of insanity Schapelle now exhibits.’

‘There is no doubt that her behavior is that of someone with a serious psychosis, who isn’t getting the correct medical treatment.’ Jo Buchanan.
