This is the latest message from Ted Robbins ‘From the Desk of the Global Verge President, Ted Robbins: March 12, 2010’

The corporate staff has received numerous complaints from e-Associates regarding emails and calls they are receiving from a group that refers to themselves as Global Group.

The concerns stem from the fact that many e-Associates feel that this group is posing as Global Verge in an attempt to lure them to a business that does not exist. I wanted to address this so that everyone understands that Global Group is not associated with Global Verge.

If you receive emails from this Group you can simply unsubscribe from them by going to the bottom of their emails. If you want us to investigate further contact us by sending a note to compliance@globalverge.com so that we can assist you,

We have also been receiving questions from many of you on the status of the commissions on the VOIP product. We have been working with our current VOIP provider to get answers to everything so that we can accurately pay the commissions owed to those that have bought and/or sold the product. We will diligently continue these efforts. However, I also want to ASSURE you that you will be paid the commissions that you have earned. I personally apologize for the delays and confusion regarding this.

 

Now on to the fun stuff:

On Tuesday night’s Corporate call we announced that we are working on several additional MVNOs to accompany the existing one that we completed last week. We also announced the first of our Telecom products associated with our new MVNO which is the Prepaid Air Card. The Air Cards will be rolled out next week with great prices and a residual. This is very exciting and we can’t wait to roll this product out next week.

But that’s not all. Earlier today I sent out an email notification announcing a new technology launch with our partner Xennsoft. Make sure that you read this morning’s email for all the details on this commissionable product which allows you to send personal voicemails to your entire down-line using the tree view. This is what many of our leaders have been begging for. There are so many aspects to this product that you need to be informed about as soon as possible so that you can start taking advantage of them.

Again, this is $14.95 per month with $5.00 of that going towards commission. Of that $2.00 goes to the sponsor and the rest goes to the up-line.

The ability to place an order for Global Mobile 1 Phone products has been temporarily suspended for a few days and a ‘Temporary Order Suspension’ notice has been placed in the GlobalVerge.com Back Office while Global Verge programmers integrate an easier to use ordering, activation, shipping and tracking system. Activations and renewal orders will still be accepted.

 

Priority has been placed on the shipment of the remaining phones and SIMs * Hundreds of orders have been shipped over the holiday season. And anyone who has already ordered a GM1 phone or SIM and not received it, will be sent an email shortly with specific instructions related to their order/activation etc.

 

On the call Ruth Mayne urged everyone to pay close attention to ALL the details on any paper work that is associated with ordering phone products or sending phones to Global Verge to be activated etc AND to make sure to include one’s name and Global Verge ID number with your specific request.

The Global TalkSmart plan in both Australia and South Africa is $49.95 US a month

1. YES * The Home Office Water from Air machines can run on solar power although initially the solar unit required may cost almost as much as the SOHO 1V itself. (Brent will forward more details to me that I can pass on to anyone interested.)

 

2. NO * These Water from Air machines will NOT rust out of doors. The beautiful blue cover may fade a tad but the (stainless steel and durable plastic) machine will NOT rust.

However we anticipate enormous growth in Global Verge in 2010 and all the groups within our own Global Verge Solutions group. This is the full message sent by Ted Robbins recently * Recapping all their accomplishments made just in the last six months of 2009. And then his projections for the Corporate Strategy, Products, Websites, Marketing Systems as well as the new Training Program for Global Verge members in 2010.

‘In addition to some very important information for those of you who have been waiting for SIM card or phone orders this update also includes important information about what we have accomplished during the past 6 months and a brief glimpse of where we are headed in 2010. 

 As you know during these past several weeks since the launch of our Global Mobile1 products we have been working through varying issues and I know that many of you are aware of some of these. There have been issues with the activation process for the service as well as delays in shipment of SIM cards and phones. As you also know from our calls and emails we have been working to improve all of this and feel strongly that the correct processes are being put in place.  With the move of the fulfillment center to Lee’s Summit we are getting everything streamlined. 

We have hired an entire team that has designed and is implementing a new order processing, tracking and shipping system which will allow orders to be tracked and shipped in a fashion that is accountable, reliable and timely.

We have also hired several new customer service reps to help all those still waiting for orders.  In the process of analyzing the entire ordering process this week we have discovered integration issues which have created some of the orders to be delayed. We are also aware of others still needing assistance.  We have assigned customer service reps to call these customers and follow up with them.  These reps have been instructed to help get the phones set up, activate them with the plan that the customer selects, and ship it as fast as we can.

If you have not received a SIM or a phone and have not yet been contacted, please send a support ticket through the Global Mobile1 support suite.  Even if you have already sent a ticket, please send another ticket. 

As we have been going through this grueling process during the past holiday week,  I have been reflecting on our past year and all that we have come through and yet all that we have accomplished in spite of some setbacks.  I wanted to share some of these with you.  For those who have become e-Associates recently or for those who have forgotten, here’s a short list of how far we have come in approximately 180 days with some highlights of what we have ahead of us as we move into 2010.

 

Global Verge ACCOMPLISHMENTS in 2009. 

Global Verge Merchant Accounts.  Because of your efforts we had an influx of about 40,000 new Global Verge e-Associates in one 60 day time frame back in June.  The merchant accounts that we had attained were not prepared to accept this rapid growth and we had to engage new merchant account vendors, which was definitely not an easy task.  We had to prove that we were credit worthy by preparing detailed reports and also show the banks that our business model is unique and has great potential. 

All of this activity had to be taken care of while we were running the day to day business which was growing more hectic each day as the business continued to unexpectedly explode. It was a great day when we ‘pulled it off’ and had the new merchants in place.

Global Verge Product Sales Commissions.  The Global Verge business model is unique.  People join Global Verge for products and services that they receive from multiple vendors and pay for on a monthly basis.  They also join so that they have the ability to retail products and services.  A major accomplishment for us in 2009 was importing the Product Commission into the back office while having these orders processed through multiple vendors. We are proud to say that commissions have been on time and accurate since our rapid growth rate in August.

Global Verge Mobile Product Launch.  Throughout all of the highs and lows of our Global Verge Mobile Product Launch over the last 6 months we continued to believe in our relationships in the Mobile Industry.  This is what kept us moving forward.  Even in the face of vendors not being able to follow through on committed dates, we were confident a solid solution would become available.  And we were right. 

It all came to fruition because we worked to pull together a new alternative.  I believe that everything happens for a reason.  As you know we are now positioned with our new vendor.  With this relationship we feel strongly that we have an even greater opportunity for our e-Associates.  Our mobile launch not only entailed detailed contract negotiations with the appropriate vendors, but it also consisted of developing the product plans and the commission structure to go along with those plans. 

Global Verge Replicated Websites.  With our phenomenal programming team we successfully developed your Global Verge Replicated Websites so that each of you would be able to individually brand your business.  Then, with the announcement of our mobile product launch we also developed the Global Mobile1 replicated websites for each of you.  Also, within your Global Verge Replicated sites we have added videos that discuss varying products as well as a new business overview presentation. 

Global Verge Product Branding.  As you continued to build your business we worked behind the scenes to assure that we had the appropriate branding for our new product lines.  This included Global Talk Smart (our VOIP service), Global Mobile1 for our new mobile product launch and GIA (nee Mandi) for our Global Interactive Assistant.  In the process of this branding we had to:

1. Assure that we were trademarked,

2. Secure the URLs required to run the business.

3. Design the logos

Global Verge VOIP/Global TalkSmart.  We announced and released VOIP for the U.S. and Canada.

Restaurants.com.  We instigated and secured a relationship with Restaurants.com for U.S. e-Associates which allows for $25 gift certificates for restaurants local to you.

Global Verge GIA.  We developed the software for our Global Interactive Assistant which will soon be released.

Fathom WorldWide.  We have had several upgrades to our Fathom product.

Global Verge Back Office.  We initiated enhancements almost monthly to your Xennsoft back office.  These included but weren’t limited to upgrades to the ‘ Tree’ view that allows you to click and segment different teams within your tree, search within the tree by name and color highlighting to show promotions within your group.

Communication.  Communication is the most important part of our Global Verge business and we are continually striving to improve in this area. 

1. On that front we have introduced the Tuesday/Thursday recorded call structure.  This is a departure from the original live calls that were continually overloaded which prevented people from attending.  The calls are now posted in the back offce of both Global Verge websites.

2. My NEW ‘From the Desk of the President’ communication seeks to keep you informed on a weekly basis. We  also post this communication on your Global Verge website for easy viewing. 

Global Verge Support.  We moved our original Global Verge Support suite to a more expanded solution to allow for immediate real time response.  We also implemented a support system for our Global Mobile 1 products as well.  We have continued to hire support staff and have developed training for this team that has been ongoing for several months now. 

Global Verge Commissions Payment Platform.  We launched a payment platform that allows you to transfer money via check, wire, credit card, etc.  This enhancement was of particular importance to our team in South Africa who were not able to transfer their commission properly until we installed this system.

Global Verge Training.  We launched the Global Verge  University with the interactive testing model that includes a training manual for Global Mobile1 . We also installed this module on our servers so that this venue can now be used as a framework for future training in all areas of our business. This system will continue to grow to support all our training needs.

Global Verge Corporate Headquarters.  We consolidated our Las Vegas and St. Louis offices to Lee’s Summit and:

1. More than doubled our Global Verge corporate office square footage to accommodate additional staff. 

2. Hired financial people and have engaged consultants who are tops in the industry.  This will help us prepare for additional future expansion. 

3. Relocated the fulfillment center from Florida to Lees Summit.  We installed a centralized phone system and integrated new phone numbers for the support team.

4. Held several open houses with open forum discussions between the field and the corporate staff. 

 

Our Global Verge projections for 2010.

Global Mobile 1.

1.  We will continue to expand the Global Mobile 1 products and services including Family Plans and air cards etc. 

2.  The expansion of Brick-n-Mortar Global Mobile 1 locations will continue. 

3.  Expect continued refinement and simplification of the Global Mobile 1 ordering procedures. 

4.  Additionally other telecom products such as the portable router will be released as well as GIA (Global Interactive Assistant.)     

5. Global Mobile 1 International Launch: We will streamline our processes and service in the US so that we have a great launching pad for developing the Global Verge Global Mobile 1 business in Canada, Australia and South Africa. 

6. In Canada we are setting up an order tracking system for our Canadian warehouse.  When this is complete and our US ’role model’ is functioning as it needs to, we will be able to launch Global Mobile 1 in Canada.

Global Verge Back Office Enhancements.  We have been working on a two phased upgrade to the enhancement of our Product and Services training and tracking. 

1.  The first phase will consist of the ability to identify and track the usage of our member services. This will allow you to have greater visibility of your products and service purchased with Global Verge.

2.  In phase two of this upgrade we will expand upon the information supplied for each vendor with even greater tracking.

Global Verge Websites.  We will continue with further developments to our main website as well as the replicated websites.

Additional Marketing Systems.  We will be launching some new marketing systems allowing special promotions (controlled by you) to be marketed online through a website interface.  We will also be developing other marketing materials.

Global Verge e-Associate Training Program. 

1. We will be integrating the Global Verge University to include training for back office navigation, compensation plan training and every aspect of our knowledge base for bringing new Global Verge e-Associates up to speed as soon as they join your business. 

2. We will also be implementing the Level II and Level III certification training for Global Verge Global Mobile 1.

Global Verge Corporate Strategy Session.  We will be meeting as a corporate team for several days before the end of the month to put together a strategy for 2010 as well as a 5 year plan. 

This session will include a budgeting process and a ranking of priorities for our future growth.  We have hired an outside consultant to monitor this session.  I am looking forward to giving you further insight to our plans once we have gone through this process.

 

Like all businesses ours has been a work in process.  It has been cathartic for me to review what has happened in the past several months and my hope is that this review has helped you as well.

I am excited about our future.  I know we will continue to have hurdles to overcome.  All businesses do.  But I also know that we are creating a company that gives the average person the ability to work from home in a creative environment and allows each person to structure a personal business within the Global Verge model that suits their interests and has a commission plan that beats any other with products that are the wave of the future.  How can anyone not be excited about that?

Ted Robbins, President of Global Verge sent a message via email to Global Verge members yesterday which included updates on the following:  

1. Global Mobile1 Service: 

Global Verge is a MVNO ie a Mobile Virtual Network Operator. This means that Global Verge provides their mobile phone service directly through the carriers. The data for Global Mobile 1 customers is housed on a server and this same server is also used by other carriers. 

Ted addressed this detail because as he said there have been well meaning, yet misinformed e-Associates, that have been contacting the server administrators in order track down their Global Verge details.

These server administrators can see any carrier’s data.  However, the only way to determine which MVNO a specific customer has gone through is to know the specific MVNO code and the customer service agents at the server location do not have access to these codes. 

Therefore, when the server administrator looks at their information they will not be able to discern which carrier the data is from, but just that the data is on their server.

So, based on such partial information, incorrect assumptions were being made about where the service originated or who activated the service.

Ted emphasized the value of the relationship that Global Verge has with their vendors informing members that ‘It is of utmost importance that any questions regarding your service come directly to Global Verge or Global Mobile1 so that you can get accurate and valid information.’ 

 

2. Global Mobile1 Customer Service:

The new GM1 customer service and technical center will open this week which will improve the ordering process greatly.   

Through this new center staff will be able to answer GM1 tickets quickly and professionally, as well as service customer needs more efficiently.  

The center will also provide: manual activation services, flash and set up service on all non Verizon phones as well as unlock services for GSM phones to our network and service.  

After January 1 2010 we will also have a customer service call back system to address  any technical questions about service, flashing, unlocking or trouble shooting

 

3. SIMs and Phones:

The distribution team in Florida was ‘overwhelmed’ with orders for the processing of SIMs and phones. Therefore all printers, SIMs and inventory will now be shipped to the new Service and Fulfillment center at Lee’s Summit. 

All pending orders are now being processes and all back orders will be out by the end of this week.  With the implementation of our new inventory and shipping system, all orders will be tracked and the turn around will be 3-5 days.

By January 1 2010

1. All new orders will be processed and everything will then be on track to supply retail orders with the same quick turn around.

2. Any SIM or phone order will be customized and branded Global Mobile1.

 

4. Reseller Training and Study Guide:

A Global Verge University will now host the knowledgebase for all information about the Global Verge products and services. The programming and development team aims to make it easy to understand and follow. 

The new online reseller exam for basic training will reside at www.gvuniversity.com This site is expected to be ready soon.

The Study Guide for the reseller exam and certification is being finalized. This exam is expected to be available next week. 

 

5.  Level 2 and Level 3 Training and Certification: 

The Training and Certification events for these higher level options will begin in January 2010. We are aware that many members are anxious to receive this certification and so events will be held in many sections of the country. Global Verge will post details as they become available.   

 

6.  International VoIP: 

VoIP Canada is now on our Global Talk Smart sites.

The VoIP Canadian Plan: $32.99 for international calling to over 30+ countries. 

The 800 number that was on the site didn’t work from Canada and the postal code section only allowed for a 5 digit field. Both items will be fixed.

Plans and costs have been mapped out for South Africa and Australia and should be   finalizing this week in the hope of commencing before the year’s end.

 

7.  International Global Mobile1: 

Final agreements for Global Mobile 1 in Canada are being reviewed. Once this has been done replicated Global Mobile1 sites for Canadian e-Associates will be set up.

Australia is our next mobile focus point and agreements are being developed.

More than ten thousand phones have already been activated successfully.

 

Personalized Global Mobile 1 SIM Business Cards printed with your name, ID number and contact information on them, will be available for ordering soon.

These innovative SIM Business Cards will give your friends & potential customers the opportunity to try the GM1 service and then should they purchase one of the GM1 Plans at any time in the future, they will be able to either contact you or purchase a Plan with the card (that is linked to your ID.)  There will be a minimum order of 25 and they will also pay a commission.

 

Global Verge Banners will soon be available. These banners will be useful for anyone wanting to promote Global Verge at Trade Shows, Meetings or Kiosks etc :

1. By ordering directly from Global Verge Corporate

2. By downloading a PDF file so that e-associates can have them printed locally

 

Regardless of what anyone tells you, most handsets are locked, and can only be unlocked manually. This service normally costs $40 to $50 * Cheaper software needs to be used with caution as they have been known render phones useless.

1. The handset is locked.

2. CDMA Network only ie the phone is a non Verizon or Alltel phone

3. Incorrect information was entered to activate the phone.

 

Global Mobile 1 will allow everyone to send in their current phone to Global Verge Corporate to have it activated and to upload all GM1 banners/branding/videos and screen shots by competent professionals for a nominal fee. This will completely solve any activation problems including the unlocking of your phone.

 

A form will be available in your back-office to complete and send in with your phones for the following services if needed:

1. Activate a non Verizon or Alltel phone on CDMA – $14.99

2. Unlock your phone – $24.99

3. Premium handset setup with branding/videos/banners so it can be used as a public marketing – $12.99

4. Manual Portage of your current phone number – Minimal cost.

There will be a 24 to 48 hour turn around for this service and you will be notified by email when your phone has been shipped back to you with tracking information.

There are different shipping options available through FedX at the company rate. NOTE: Neither Global Verge or GM1 profit from the cost of shipping.

 

There will be a customer service line available for customers of Global Mobile 1 to answer any inquiries that the e-associates are not able to answer.

 

On Dec 19 there will be a study guide and exam available in the back office to enable certification of all e-associates to make retail sales. (NOTE: As at Dec 19: slightly delayed)

When an e-associate passes the exam a new retail sales website with their name and contact information will automatically be activated. This will enable your customers to contact you should they have any basic questions.

NOTE: The study guide and certification will enable you to easily answer basic questions, which is part of the service you are offering and being paid commissions for.

 

Global Verge Air Cards: All internet activity on cell phones is tracked by the carrier so that if anyone uses the internet access of your phone to go to undesirable sites, the carrier can actually ‘burn’ your phone (ie render it useless.) For instance, this could happen if someone within range of your phone uses your internet access to visit certain targeted sites. (This can and does happen when using WIFI and WIMAX)

Fortunately Air Cards will prevent this.

Global Mobile 1 will have Air Cards available for unlimited internet access on your phones – untapped/no contract/prepaid. Commissions and rates to be announced.

 

Global Mobile 1 will have the Unlimited International SIMs that will work on any GSM network soon.

 

And Family Plans will be out by next week.

This is a summary of the message that was sent to Global Verge members yesterday * November 24 2009 US

1. 5000 Plans have been ordered since the GlobalMobile1 Website has been operable ie in less than a week.

2. For SPECIFIC GlobalMobile1 inquiries you can now go to http://globalmobile1.com  Firstly, look at the FAQs there. Then if your question has not been addressed, register and send a Support Ticket.

NOTE: For general Global Verge inquiries register and send a Support Ticket at http://globalvergesupport.com   

3. Members who took advantage of being able to take a ‘wait and see’ approach while the Telecommunications Systems was in pre-launch will have to activate their autoship and place an order (ie chose your monthly package) by the end of December in order to remain an active e-Associate.

 

NOTE: To offset any unforeseen tribulations and/or avoid any disappointment, you are well advised to actually do this well in advance of December 26 2009

  

4. Reminder of the relevant Policies and Procedures: ‘E-Associates are not eligible to re-apply for a Global Verge business for 12 months following the expiration of their E-Associate agreement.’ 

5. The only Corporate Office Support lines after November 30 2009 will be:

FAX: Will change to 816-817-0522.

 

Excerpts from message from Ted Robbins sent to Global Verge members November 24 2009

We have had over 5000 orders since the GlobalMobile1 site has been up and running.  There have been a few glitches but overall we are getting those bugs worked out thanks to the communication from our excellent field leaders. As we mentioned on the call last Thursday things will be changing daily as we ad features and continue to upgrade the websites. One of the features that we have added is the support link from your GlobalMobile1 replicated sites. This means that when you have a support issue regarding the mobile service you should submit a support ticket from that site so that it will go directly to the mobile support team for a response. 

Now that we have our communications product launched I want to address the e-Associates who have not been active for the past few months because they took advantage of the option to step back and take a ‘wait and see’ approach while we worked on getting our mobile service up and running. Though we are still ramping up, we consider our product launched and (as evidenced by your orders), we know all of you are very excited about this. 

That said, for those that have not been active, I wanted to give fair warning that they will have to activate their autoship and place an order by the end of December in order to remain an active e-Associate. This means that if current inactive e-Associates do not activate by that time they will lose their place in the matrix.  I am using the term ‘they’ because most of you reading this notification ARE active, but you may have e-Associates in your downline that are not active. It is very important that you get this information to these individuals so that they have ample time to reassess the Global Verge opportunity and make an informed decision on their activation status. The opportunity that was presented to them several months ago is alive and well and we would love to have them as part of our dynamic team.

After the December 31st deadline we will revert to normal policies and procedures which can be found in Section 2.5.

We appreciate all of you who have hung in there with us and have believed in our quest to become the best income opportunity in network marketing. We continue to believe that Global Verge has the most phenomenal compensation plan and products available. We also feel that we have been very fair in offering the ‘wait and see’ option but the fact is that we are now moving forward with very exciting times ahead of us.   

I want you to all know that this announcement is the official stance of Global Verge and December 31, 2009 is the final deadline which means that an order must be placed in December.
